Everyone (in Greer anyway :) knows our house was built by and for Dr. Greenburg and his wife to retire in, but when they decided to stay in North Carolina and sell their fabulous Greer home, we were just in the right place at the right time.
FRANKLY come to think of it, it was my husband Jim who was on this GreerAz.com website looking at REAL ESTATE (you should too).
He saw a listing he hadn't seen before and so he called Mark Wade at Greer Realty and Greer Cabin Keepers (they take care of our cabin) and asked about it. Mark reminded him where it was. . . up near the Greenburgs. Jim knew the Greenburg house. He serviced the alarm system after we bought the company that installed it. Then Mark mentioned Dr. Greenburg had called and wanted to sell his house in Greer.
When Jim described it to me, and Mark sent photos, we had it under contract before I'd even seen it in person.
Lucky? I think so :)
